2025 Studio & Outdoor Christmas Minis in Watertown, WI | Full Holiday Recap

The 2025 holiday season at Kendall Kuss Photography was truly magical. Between a full day of Studio Christmas Minis in Watertown, WI and a second day of outdoor pine tree minis, this year’s holiday sessions were filled with cozy vibes, beautiful families, and festive energy from start to finish. Each family showed up ready to create photos perfect for their holiday cards, and the results were everything I hoped for — joyful, warm, and full of personality.

Studio Minis: Cozy, Classic, and Full of Holiday Spirit

Inside my natural light studio in Watertown, WI, families spent the day rotating between two beautiful holiday setups. The first was a cozy bed scene where so many families wore their cutest Christmas pajamas. Kids loved cuddling up, giggling, and showing off their silly holiday energy. The natural light made everything feel soft and inviting, and the whole vibe was relaxed and fun.

The second studio option was a classic black and gold setup complete with a flocked Christmas tree. Families who dressed up chose this set, and it photographed beautifully. The textures, sparkle, and timeless holiday feel created photos that are perfect for gifting and displaying all season long.

Throughout the day, the kids were total rockstars — happy, smiley, and excited to be there. The minis moved quickly, and every session flowed so smoothly. It was one of those days where everything just felt right.

Outdoor Pine Tree Minis: Freezing Cold but So Worth It

Day two brought a completely different vibe with our outdoor pine tree Christmas minis — and honestly, it was such a fun adventure. It was cold. Like really cold. But every family showed up bundled, cheerful, and ready to make the most of it. We kept the sessions short and efficient so everyone could warm up quickly, but even in the chilly temperatures, the photos turned out stunning.

The pine trees made the perfect natural holiday backdrop, giving each family a wintery, outdoorsy look that feels classic and seasonal. Breath clouds, rosy cheeks, bundled kids, and cozy layers all added so much charm. Even with the cold, everyone had a great time, and we ended up with gorgeous images that looked straight out of a holiday postcard.

Grateful for Returning Families & New Faces

One of my favorite parts of this season was seeing so many returning families — some I've photographed for years — walk through my doors again. Watching your kids grow is truly such a gift. I also loved meeting the new families who joined my minis this year. The mix of familiar faces and brand-new ones made the season feel full and joyful.
