A Beautiful Afternoon of Family Fun
We started outdoors in their backyard, surrounded by glowing sunlight and blooming flowers. Their sweet toddler and dogs ran around freely — playing chase, exploring the garden, and showing off scooter skills. The energy was joyful, candid, and completely natural. Those in-between moments are always my favorite to capture!
A Little Rain & A Clear Umbrella
Just as the session hit its stride, a soft drizzle began to fall. Instead of heading inside, we pulled out a clear umbrella prop (a must-have for rainy-day photos!) and kept the fun going. Those images turned out whimsical — bright smiles under glistening raindrops that perfectly capture the carefree spirit of the day.
Painting, Play, and Personality
After the rain, it was time for her favorite activity — painting! We set up her easel outside so she could create with her favorite color, orange, surrounded by flowers and family. Later, we headed inside for one of my favorite shots of the entire day: her sitting proudly in front of her wall of colorful paintings. It’s pure childhood magic — the kind of photo that deserves to be in a children’s magazine.
